These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Barkly, a marketplace platform that connects pet owners with independent pet sitters. By using Barkly, you agree to these Terms.
Barkly operates as an online marketplace. Sitters are independent contractors, not employees of Barkly. We provide the technology, payment processing, and tools to facilitate connections.
You must provide accurate information when creating your profile and are responsible for all activity under your account.
A booking is confirmed when the Sitter accepts the request. Cancellation refund eligibility depends on timing. Generally, cancellations 7+ days in advance may qualify for a full refund.
All payments are processed through Stripe. Sitters receive payment for completed bookings minus applicable platform fees (typically 15–20%) and payment processing fees.
